We are excited to be able to offer this comprehensive resource to our patrons. Read below for details of what this product has to offer.

From the high school and community college students just embarking on a career path to the business veteran who wants to make a career change, the Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) provides users with in-depth information on colleges and universities, graduate and professional programs, distance learning, corporate training, available scholarships and awards, preparatory entrance tests and much more. This online education resource provides everything users need to learn more about furthering their education and making informed decisions on their future from one single, handy database.

And now we’ve taken this database to the next level with the availability of TERC with Careers, which includes tools to help users match their personality to suitable occupations, build outstanding and appealing resumes, and learn valuable cover letter, interviewing, and salary negotiation tips specific to their career stage.

Loaded with information on colleges, technical schools and executive programs, practice entrance, certification and professional license exams that show students what to expect and how to prepare to get to — and excel at — the next level.

TERC also helps interested scholars prepare financially for their endeavor by identifying financial aid and other monetary sources available to them and offers tips on how to secure these available funds.

Students and seasoned professionals
TERC with Careers helps users identify a career path with a career assessment test and key information on more than 1,100 occupations. Plus, the Resumé Builder and Virtual Careers Library makes this perfect for job seekers by providing specific examples and tips for the job search.
